Exhibit:
In the
spirit of
the mission
statement of
the Homer
Public
Library,
rotating
exhibitions
and displays
of artwork
may be
installed in
the
Library’s
public space
in
accordance
with the
approved
policies and
procedures. |
ELIGIBILITY

Open to all Homer and surrounding areas. |
ENTRIES
|

All work must be original wall art.
-
All work must be wired and ready to hang with no exposed glass edges.

All installations and related processes will be approved by the Community Art-work Selection Panel.

The general well-being, safety, maintenance and good order of the Homer Public Library will take precedence over the agreement to mount in library spaces.

Artists that submit artwork for display will sign a general release form that establishes: a) the official responsible parties; b) dates of exhibition; c) specifics of exhibition; d) insurance coverage or waiver; and e) details of conditions of display.

The library does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of exhibited material.

Artwork may not be for sale during exhibition.

APPLICATION
Applications may be picked up from the Library circulation desk or downloaded from the library website (http://library.ci.homer.ak.us/).
Applications should be returned to the library no later than December 1, 2009.
